Who I am
This website (YT Web Co.) is operated by Yan Tokaruk, a web developer based in Lutsk, Ukraine. I am the controller of the personal data described below. For any privacy question, write to ytwebco@gmail.com.
What data I collect
When you use the contact form or the project brief, I receive what you enter: your name, email, phone or Telegram, project type, budget, message and any files or links you add. When you book a call, the booking service receives your name, email and chosen time.
Like any website, the server and my analytics also see technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page and approximate location. If you came from an ad, I also store the campaign parameters of that visit (for example UTM tags).
When you submit the contact form or the project brief, I save the technical details of that visit together with your request: IP address, browser and device type, the page you submitted from, the pages of this site you opened during the visit, the referring page and UTM tags, if any. I need them to reply to you and to understand which channels bring enquiries. They are stored in the site admin and sent to me in Telegram. You can ask me to delete them by writing to ytwebco@gmail.com.
Why I use it and on what basis
- To reply to your request, prepare a quote and discuss your project. Basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and my legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- To run and secure the website (spam protection, preventing abuse). Basis: legitimate interest.
- To understand how the site is used and measure advertising, through Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. Basis: your consent, given in the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time.
I do not sell your data, do not send newsletters without your separate consent, and do not take decisions about you by automated means.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep the site working (for example, your cookie choice). Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) and marketing cookies (Google Ads conversion tracking) are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. The full list of cookies is in the Cookie policy.
Where your data is stored and for how long
Form and brief submissions are stored in the website database at my hosting provider and are also delivered to my private Telegram chat so I can reply quickly. I keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact, or longer if we work together and the law requires me to keep project records. After that they are deleted. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics (up to 14 months).
Services that process data for me
- Hosting provider: stores the website and its database.
- Telegram: delivers form messages to my private chat.
- Cal.com: booking calls.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads: statistics and ad measurement, only with your consent.
Some of these providers (Google, Telegram, Cal.com) may process data outside the European Economic Area and Ukraine. They do so under their own data protection terms and safeguards, for example standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can ask me to show what data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or give it to you in a portable form. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing done before it. Write to ytwebco@gmail.com and I will answer within 30 days.
If you think I handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) or, if you are in the EU/EEA, to your local data protection authority.
Security and children
I use HTTPS, restricted access to the admin area and spam protection to keep your data safe. The site is not intended for children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes, I update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
